kqRWallFunction boundary condition provides a simple wrapper around the zero-gradient condition, which can be used for the turbulent kinetic energy, i.e. k, square-root of turbulent kinetic energy, i.e. q (e.g. in qZeta turbulence model), and Reynolds stress tensor fields, i.e. R (e.g. in LRR turbulence model), for the cases of high Reynolds number flow using wall functions.kqRWallFunction condition inherits the traits of the zeroGradientFvPatchField boundary condition.Required fields (either of the below):
k | Turbulent kinetic energy [m2/s2] q | Square-root of turbulent kinetic energy [m/s] R | Reynolds stress tensor [m2/s2]
Example of the boundary condition specification:
<patchName>
{
// Mandatory entries (unmodifiable)
type kqRWallFunction;
// Optional (inherited) entries
...
}
where the entries mean:
| Property | Description | Type | Required | Default |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| type | Type name: kqRWallFunction | word | yes | - |
The inherited entries are elaborated in:
